You read these blog posts of all of these families waiting to adopt. The wait nearly does them in every time. They tell of their heart yearning for something, anything, to confirm the next step. They get all worked up and in a tizzy and just when they can't possibly go another step further, they cling to the Lord and He delivers.
This, my friends, was my yesterday.
Waiting for a court date has been getting ugly around here. I mean, really ugly. Like, Mama-has-made-herself-physically-ill kind of ugly.
I have been puny for days. Last night, I finally just handed it to God, said I couldn't take it any more, and BAM! just like that, today we have a court date! Why does it always happen like that?
So, here's the skinny... I can't tell you when it is, but if you happen to guess, well... how could I help that?
When we go several things can happen:
1. The judge can order a trial. {Super expensive!}
2. The judge can appoint us a date for adoption- on a later date.
3. The judge can approve our adoption right then and there and our girl would be ours. We'd be done!
Do I even need to say what number we are praying for?
So, will you pray for us? Pretty please?
I am very thankful to have a date! Praise Jesus! We are so close!
God is good, all the time!
