Planning and Waiting

First, let me say this: I took the day off from work today. Nobody can stand to be around me prancing around and singing like Marry Poppins. There's about four loads of clean laundry to be folded staring me down from across the room. I really need to shower so that we may go shoe shopping for my girl. I can't care. I'm adopting her in three days. Who needs shoes? Clothes? So trivial.

What is getting my attention are these sassy Disney autograph books. I did my standard Facebook survey and was told that, yes, she needs one and it should be, in fact, homemade, bought from a discount store, with picture windows, without picture windows, cute, plain, fat, skinny and even just forget the whole thing. So helpful.

So, I took my research to etsy for some ideas.

There are so many cute ideas! I hope to have time to make her one myself to save money and to make it more personal. I definitely want to be able to match up pictures of her with the characters beside their autographs once we're back home. I really love the uniqueness of all of these. I can foresee her wanting to look at it every night at bedtime. She loves looking at little picture albums in her bed at night. This would be a fun way for her to remember her trip.

Do you have any fun stories or suggestions you'd like to share?  I'm all ears (hee hee! get it?). Law. I need a nap. Or a tranquilizer. I'm too excited about Monday!!!
